Home Learning Support – Nursery

In the event of a school closure or self-isolation, we would like to support your children whilst they are working at home

Work that is included in the home learning packs are:

  • Maths work - Number/ Shape
  • Phonics Phase 1
  • Songs and Rhymes
  • Writing your name
  • Home learning challenges
  • Reading for pleasure is paramount! Time should be set aside for reading at length. If possible read together with adults and to siblings, make sure you ask questions to your child. What can you see? How are characters feeling? What will happen next? Why do you think he did that? Make sure you clarify on vocabulary that children might not understand the meaning.
