Before & After School Club

The Before and After School Club has been established to offer high quality provision before and after school.  Only children registered at Lyndhurst Community Primary School are eligible to attend, up to a maximum of 15 children. Where there are more children than the available number of places, their names will be placed on a waiting list.  When a place becomes available, parents will be notified, with the child whose name has been on the list the longest having the highest priority.  If this parent does not require a place, it will be offered to the next child on the list.

The club is managed by our Care Club Manager and has a strong dedicated team of staff qualified. Staff with First Aid Certificates are available at all times. For more information place contact the school office on 0161 330 7220 or email admin@lyndhurst-primary.co.uk.

Before School Club Overview

We open at 7.30am each day children can arrive early and enjoy a healthy breakfast with their friends. Children get the chance to select their own breakfast, choosing from a selection of cereals, toast, bagels, yoghurts and fruit. We provide a variety of activities before escorting children to classes for the start of the school day.

After School Club Overview

At the end of the school day (3:15pm) the key stage 1 children will be collected by the club staff and the key stage 2 children will make their own way to the club through the school. Designed to help parents balance work and family commitments we are open until 6.00pm each day, rest easy knowing that your children are cared for in a safe stimulating environment.  Children will be provided with a healthy snack.

The club makes use of several areas within the school; the primary base for registration is the Hall. The children have opportunities each evening for outdoor play, games and activities in the school hall.
